Dr. Sun Yat-sen Heritage Trail

Dr. Sun Yat-sen, “Father of the Nation”, was a well-known revolutionary who spent a lifetime overthrowing the Qing Dynasty. His achievements have led to republicanism in China, ending the reign of the dynasties. The heritage trail highlights his relationship with Hong Kong, which was the cradle of his revolutionary plan, and where he was baptized and received secondary and university education.

While you walk along the Sun Yat-sen Heritage Trail, you can see reception centres established by the Tong Meng Hui (Chinese Revolutionary Alliance) in residential areas of Hong Kong for accommodation of the revolutionary exiles.
